Article Summary

This article provides step-by-step instructions for editing your account details in Mindful. Whether you need to update your basic details, change your password, or configure multi-factor authentication, this guide will walk you through the process.

To access and modify your account details, you'll need to navigate to the Account Settings page in Mindful, also called Your Account (Your Username > Account Settings). The following sections provide guidance on all of the functions available on this page.

Note for Government Users
Editing your basic details (Email and Name) are the only available options at this time.

Edit Your Basic Details

Your email address and name were configured by the Admin who added your account to the platform, but you can edit these values on your Account page at any time.

Follow the steps provided to make changes and ensure that your information is up-to-date.

  • Edit your email address in the Email field.
  • Edit your name in the Name field.
NOTE
After updating your email, you will need to log in again.

Change Your Password

If you need to change your Mindful account password, you can do so on your Account page. Follow these steps to ensure that your account is secure.

  3. Copy the confirmation code that will be sent to the email address associated with your Mindful account, then paste it in the Confirmation Code field.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password in the provided fields. If you don't meet the requirements, helper text in the window will tell you what you're missing.
  5. Click Submit to make the change.

Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

This section provides an overview of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and the steps to configure it for your Mindful account. Instructions are provided in the Mindful UI, and the same steps are listed below.

NOTE
For users who log in through single sign-on (SSO), MFA is managed via your identity provider rather than Mindful.

View Your Application Roles

In the Roles field, you can see which Mindful applications you've been granted access to and your user role in each application. You cannot make changes to your own roles and access to applications, but other admins can make changes to your account on the User Management page if needed (Organization > User Management).

To learn more about Application Roles, including which roles are available by default and how to create custom roles, see Application Roles.
